Brilliant first half marathon!

This was my first half marathon, and it was wonderful. The event welcomed runners of all abilities and was well-organized. The only flaw I can point out is that it would have been helpful to see the course map prior to the event.
Additionally, a map for spectators should have been emailed out—I had to email in to request it. The signposting and marshalling around the course were incredible.

Seeing a course map prior to the event proved tricky and wasn’t sent out on the pre-event instructions.

Good race, well organised. Excellent Marshall’s and gold number of them. The event lacks a bit of atmosphere on route as there are very few spectators who come out, no fault of the organisers of course. The only negative is the lack of toilets. There are some st the start but insufficient number of them, causing long queues and no toilets on route. Other than that all great, thanks to the organisers and Marshalls

Flat Half with supportive crowd
Very enjoyable route, crowds at the richmond end of the route were very supportive.
Last 2 miles back towards the finish was very busy on the path.
Please improve the water stations for next year. Cups were too small, and after you grab them, there was barely 2 mouthfuls left.
Overall, it was a very good event!
First half marathon!
The race was very well planned overall from the point of getting our numbers and that marshall being really supportive around the route! It was my first half marathon and I like how there were only around 600 runners so it didn't seem too serious. The flat route and very nice scenery around the river was a bonus too!
My first half marathon and I definitely enjoyed. Not the biggest crew but they all did a lot thanks.
Really well organised, great atmosphere, for the most part a lovely route along the river. The loop at the end is horrible!
